Commercial Management of Projects
Effective commercial management of construction projects is vital in order for companies to obtain and to carry out work at a profit to ensure their survival.
This course takes delegates through the principles of commercial management,
the procurement stage, and on to an overview of contracts, financial reporting
and dispute resolution during the construction stage.
Aims and Objectives:
To enable delegates to:
- Understand the main principles of commercial management and why it is critical to the successful outcome of a project
- Appreciate how to deal with risk and its relevance in procuring and managing projects
- Understand the importance of effective reporting systems throughout the project cycle
