Interpersonal Skills (ICE Attribute No.6)

Working in a complex environment with a multitude of people to deal with it is critical to our success that we understand how we can build rapport and an effective business relationship with these different people. Whether these people are clients, colleagues or superiors it is important to understand how we can ensure that our interpersonal skills are highly developed.  This one day programme will cover key aspects of those required skills, building on the communication skills course.

Aim of the programme:

Delegates will know how to improve their interpersonal skills

By the end of the session delegates will be able to:

• Explain the theory of Transactional Analysis & how this can assist in managing interpersonal relationships
• Identify key ways to maintain assertive, adult communication
• List the protected characteristics identified in the Equality Act 2010 and explain how and why managing diversity issues is key to building effective working relationships
