In-person open courses are returning! Some topics benefit from being explored face to face, so we are reintroducing this format for selected open courses, beginning with Highway Law – An Introduction in Birmingham.
Since the coronavirus pandemic, our open courses have been delivered online and open for all to attend, separate from our in-house training for teams. For those who have been training with us for a while, you'll know that we used to run in-person open courses which took place in training centres across the UK.
During this time exploring online training, we have seen and taken advantage of its many benefits: interactive tools, breakout rooms for focused discussion, and ultimately, convenience. However, with increasing demand, and experience from continuing to deliver in-person team training, we understand that this format is a valuable space that provides time away from day-to-day work, space for live questions, and opportunities to discuss practical issues with an experienced tutor and engineers from other organisations!
As a considered return to in-person open courses shaped by increasing demand, we would value your suggestions for future subjects and locations, helping us build a programme around what engineers, employers and training managers actually need.
